When you can’t find any vegan restaurant around you, my 7 recommendation for vegans to find shelter in Tokyo is as follows.
I hope you can manage to have a quick snack and survive in Tokyo.

Lost in Tokyo

Go to Coco Ichibanya!

  • Let’s go to “Coco ichibanya”, the curry fast food chain, and order “Vegetarian Curry”, “Allergen-free curry”.
    Except these, almost all curry contains meat broth, so be careful not to order others.
    And also you can add to order the vegetable topping;

  • Let’s go to “Saizeriya”, the family restaurant chain, and order “Alio Olio”.
    You can add the topping of chili pepper on the table.
    Italian family restaurants often serve Alio Olio(garlic spaghetti) , Pepelonchino (garlic and chili spagetti ) or simple tomato sauce spagetti.

Go to Kaiten Zushi!

  • Let’s go to the chain store of Kaiten Zushi (conveyor belt sushi) and order the following menu;
    • Kappa Maki (Cucumber roll). Dip it in soy sauce and eat!
    • Natto Maki (Natto roll). Fermented soy beans are called Natto. Try it and form threads!
    • Inari Zushi. Rice is covered with salty, sweet deep fried Tofu.

    South Indian curry is lighter than it. I love it!
